In line with our purpose to ensure that high quality tertiary education reaches a larger number of qualified students and at the same time being mindful of our responsibility to the larger society. Zetech College is proud to introduce a scholarship program to be awarded to eight deserving students, one from each province to pursue a J.K.U.A.T degree program at Zetech College. This is a competitive scholarship that is intended to reward students with exceptional academic results. The award will be based on merit and the Scholarship will cover tuition fees only. The scholarship is only open to new students joining the college to study J.K.U.A.T degree programs on offer at Zetech college in our September 2010 intake. The applicants must: • Must have scored at least a mean grade of B+ in their KCSE • Be willing to study for a J.K.U.A.T degree programs at Zetech College. • Have completed Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education within the last 2 years •Not have received academic sponsorship from another learning institution • Be of Kenyan Nationality
An application fee of Kshs. 2,000/- is payable to Zetech college – Barclays Bank – Haille sellasie branch- Account No. 082-1508878 The applicant must also submit the following materials: 1. Complete application form 2. A handwritten application Letter. 3. An explanation detailing why the applicant thinks the Zetech College Scholarship Panel should select him/her for this opportunity (150 words maximum). It should quote what the applicant has done so far to get started in his/her tertiary education. 4. A photocopy of the applicant's K.C.S.E certificate /result slip. 5. 2. Passport size photos. 6. Three letters of recommendation from the high school principal, the area chief, and/or other community members in responsible positions (e.g., religious leaders, NGO members, etc. but not relatives) who are able to judge the applicant's overall character and community orientation and who can certify or comment on the economic status of the applicant. 7. An essay explaining how the Zetech College Degree Scholarship will be useful to you, and describing your potential contribution to society in NOT more than one page.
