In the effort to enhance access to education Zetech college offer long distance learning to cater for the groups that due to one reason or another cannot manage to come physically to our campuses.
The college avails course materials to the students upon payment of the requisite fees. The program allows the flexibility of taking the number of units one can manage depending on their schedule.

At a prescribed time the student meets with respective trainers for the course who assist in areas he/she may have experienced difficulty.

The cost of the long distance programs is Kshs 7,000 per unit.

The following is procedure of registering for the course
1. All such a students should register with the college at any of our offices.
2. Upon registration the student should pay at in full for the number of units he wishes to take.
3. The details of the registered student are handed over to the head of the respective department who will coordinate the preparation of the materials.
4. Once the student has paid he/she should be able to get materials for the subjects paid for immediately or within a maximum period of two weeks.
5. All correspondences to such a student should only be handled by the Q.AM’s office or someone on its behalf.
6. Long distance students will be evaluated by assignments being sent to them and returned to the tutors for marking. As well they should attend for at least one sit in continuous assessment test.
7. Records of examinations done are kept by the head of the respective department.
8. However final examination CAN NEVER be done via correspondence i.e. the student should attend to the exams in the college premises or any other place as arranged by the college examining body.
