Edwin Lidoro and Joash Nyandieka won the 2011 ZETECH College Degree Scholarship which were presented to them during the college's launch of the Alumni Association. Against great odds and pains, such as lack of school fees and at times hungry nights, they managed to attain impressive grades in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations (KCSE).

ZETECH College's Management using the needs-based criteria assessment agreed to award Mr. Lidoro and Mr. Nyandieka scholarships worth Kshs. 570,00 each, to cater for their tuition fees for the entire degree program.

During the presentation of the scholarship awards, ZETECH College Chairman Eng. Ken Mbiuki, called upon the alumni to mentor other students; while further urging them to sponsor students in the college as a means of giving back to society.

ZETECH College Degree Scholarship award seeks to help needy students who have done exceptionally well in their KCSE and are seeking to further their education.
